MOCHA: Clean Girl Style

Ok, ladies, I don’t know about you but I sure do love a Mocha on a chilly day!

I love coffee and I love chocolate so the two mixed together is amazing. Mochas are loaded in Calories and sugar!! and it can send you crashing into an afternoon slump and increase your waistline.

So you know how I love to experiment with trying to make to make things a cleaner option lol I want my cake and I want to eat it too!

Always remember when you are making a lifestyle change that it doesn’t have to be this horrible drastic thing, its all about finding healthier substitutes.

Now with this recipe, you can totally add full-fat cream instead about a 1/4 c as this will increase your fat for the day but not your sugar.

Ladies don’t be afraid of fat! be afraid of sugar, sugar will make you fat if you consume too much…. not FAT.

TIP: stop getting skim milk or milk, in general, its loaded in sugar, start opting for cream or nut milk unsweetened.

If you are carb cycling or on keto full-fat cream is great on low carb day or if you can’t have dairy full-fat coconut milk.


1 Serving

  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
  • 1 cup of unsweetened nut milk or (1 cup full-fat coconut milk or  1/4c cream this will increase fat intake for your day just a reminder)
  • 1 coffee pod of choice
  • stevia packet if desire more sweetness


  • You may want to heat the nut milk in the microwave for a bit so it doesn’t make your coffee cold.
  • you will stir first you cream or nut milk with chocolate protein powder and make it creamy at the bottom of your mug- stir until lumps are gone.
  • Then you will pour your coffee in and give a big stir and ENJOY!!

TIP: if your not a coffee drinker you can use hot water and make a Hot chocolate too!!

MY MOCHA IS: 152 cal, 0g sugar, 3.5 g fat, 2g carbs, 26g protein

Now that’s something to get excited about.
