I FEEL FAT!….. LETS TALK ABOUT IT… YES I’M TALKING TO YOU!!

Hey, GIRL!! I heard your cry and I’m here for you, I got you ūüėČ

I GET IT!!¬† we’ve¬†all been there as women, those horrible IM FAT DAYS.
How did this happen? why can’t¬†I feel good? why is this weight not coming off? will I ever love my body and feel good again?

TIP #1 SELF EVALUATE -ASK YOURSELF:

1. Have I been drinking enough water?
2. Have I been getting proper sleep?
3.  Have I been exercising?
4. Am I eating enough or too much?
5. Have I been comparing to other women?
6. Have I been consistent with making healthy choices?
7. Have I spent time with God and in his word?
8. How have I been speaking to myself and about myself
9. Am I getting my period?
10. How are my clothes fitting

TIP #2 WHAT FROM THE ABOVE LIST CAN YOU IMPLEMENT TODAY?:

This is really important, as women we are so emotional when it comes to our body and how we look. If we’re not careful it can consume us and rob us of joy and take our eyes on what we do have.

So deciding 3 things from the above list that you can do right now: example

  1. Drink more water bring it with you on your… ( this will help with so many things, helps with¬†bloating, gives you energy, hydrates you, lets you know if your really hungry¬†or actually thirsty)
  2. ¬†walk and pray about it( this is so important sometimes we don’t¬†really know what the source of our pain is until we bring it to the SOURCE – God. He then can reveal to us what’s really going on and give us the strength¬†to make the changes we need to make
  3. Go to bed on time and turn off social media or TV( Proper sleep can do wonders for our emotions if your not getting proper rest everything feels overwhelming) it would be like getting angry at your phone when it dies and crying about it lol when all you had to do was charge it- recharge its battery.

TIP # 3 IS THERE ANYTHING YOU NEED TO STOP DOING?

From the above list is there anything you need to stop doing?

example: comparing yourself to other women? Talking poorly about yourself?

TIP #4 MAKE A PLAN

The only way to see change is to make a change!! that starts with a plan from what you looked at above.

Now you know what things you can start immediately and what things you need to stop doing.

Now you have to make a plan WRITE IT DOWN!! when you have something written out it is way easier to follow through.

SCHEDULE¬†IT in your day, and don’t¬†tell me you don’t¬†have time… I know you make time to go and get your nails done and time to run to Starbucks or watch¬†your favourite series on Netflix¬†( I’m speaking from personal excuses lol)

We have time to make ourselves¬†healthier and feel better, it may not be easy the first¬†few times but once you do it they will make you feel so much lighter…no pun intended¬†lol

TIP #5 EXERCISE

Ladies this will change everything! not only your body but most importantly¬†your mindset. Exercise releases endorphins¬†this is the happy feeling you get when you’re done. It improves your¬†quality of life, it gives you energized even if you feel tired before starting you will feel energized when you are done. It makes you stronger, happier, healthier. Exercise is the best antidote for when you’re feeling down.

TIP #6 FIND AN ACCOUNTABILITY PARTNER

This is huge!! find a friend that you can confide in and you both can hold each other accountable. There’s nothing better than having people in your life that inspire you and motivate you, support is key when you want to make a change.

Fitness Ministry has an amazing community of women that inspire one another along there journey. You don’t have to be a mom to join either, its called the #MOMLIFE fit Club, but to be honest all women are welcome to join!!

TIP #7 JUST START!

Find a plan and program that works for you and the right support and JUST START!!

all you have to do is show up do your best and just know it won’t be perfect but as long as you show up and make small changes every day, you will feel way lighter!!

    This is awesome! I can definitely relate to this feeling, it usually ends up being one or more of the reasons on tip #1 self-evatuate. So many great tips, you covered everything! Very practical and do-able. No excuse to not take action! Love this! Thankyou!

      I hear ya girl, I know for me a lot of the time if I would just ask myself why and figure it out, the answer is obvious.
      I feel like our body’s can become such a distraction from what’s really important. I know God says to treat our body like a temple and if we would just focus on taking care of it then its simple. But I feel like Eave in the garden, the enemy sneaks in there with thoughts to take my eyes of what I have a focus on what I cant have then I end up eating the apple( falling into a trap or negative mindset) and derailing myself from what I already had.
      Its like when you look back at certain moments in your life and you’re like I had that and I looked like that, and wasn’t happy? if only again I would appreciate it. But we have to remember to enjoy the now and realize God has given us everything we need and the enemy comes to rob us of this with deception and distorted mirrors.
      A long reply I know but God was speaking this to me just now, amazing clarity.
