A Treat Without The Cheat.

Try this healthy cookie dough that is packed with all the delicious flavors to make it a healthy and fun snack. The great part is, its packed with protein and natural sugars, so eating it by the spoonfuls is not a problem.

This recipe was hard to make because I wanted to eat it all before I was done. So enjoy it 🙂

 

MAKES: 2 cups

 

INGREDIENTS: 

1/4C Smooth Nut Butter of choice

4 oz unsweetened Applesauce

1/4 Tsp Salt

1 Tsp Vanilla Extract

1/4 C Agave Nectar or Honey

1/2 Cup Gluten-Free Flour Blend (I sometimes used Oat Flour)

1 Scoop Vanilla Protein Powder

1/4 Chocolate Chips

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. In a bowl, mix together the nut butter, applesauce, salt, Vanilla Extract, agave nectar and flour. (Note: If you wish for the cookie dough to be more doughy, add more Flour.)
  2. Once it’s mixed into a cookie dough consistency. Fold in the Chocolate Chips
  3. Place dough in the freezer, store in an airtight container or enjoy right away.
